Mod developers share the progress on the Mount and Blade: Bannerlord co-op mod, currently in development.

Mount and Blade: Bannerlord was finally released this year after years of development and setbacks. Bannerlord was one of the most anticipated sequels of all time and now that it is finally released in early access fans of the series, (including myself) have a chance to once again conquer Calradia with all new factions and an all new map set 200 years before the previous title, Mount and Blade: Warband.
One of the most requested features during the series’ span of many years has been a Co-op campaign mode so that you can play through the Single Player sandbox campaign with a friend. Both titles do include a native multiplayer mode, including skirmishes and deathmatch modes but nothing that would let you and a friends army conquer together. There was a small mod known as Battle Time in which players could seemingly join in the single players battles together and fight in the same army. I personally had tried to get that mod to work both online and in LAN mode but after pulling my hair out for about a week having no success.
Mount and Blade Bannerlord Co-op Reddit Update
The developers of the Mount and Blade: Bannerlord mod have recently posted a video on YouTube and also shared in a reddit post details about the mod that they are creating and how far they have gotten. Bannerlord co-op is seemingly on the horizon. You can check out the YouTube video below.
For more details on the project the development team also has a Discord available. I for one, am very excited about the possibility of playing through the campaign with a friend. I got the game as soon as it came out in Early Access and have sunk quite a few hours into levelling my troops and destroying the Northern Empire.
With the insane community mod development around Warband, I can only imagine the kind of creations modding teams will manage to make from Bannerlord. Not only Bannerlord co-op mode, but I am also other creation, like some of my favorite Warband mods, Medieval Conquests and of course the Star Wars total conversion mod Star Wars Conquest.
