When each armor piece is going to need about 20 pieces of metal in order to craft it you can bet that you are going to need a hell of a lot of coal in order to melt down all that unprocessed ore. Today, we’re going to look at some of the ways you can get coal. You can get coal in the very early game, mid game and collect vast amounts by defeating a certain enemy in the mid-late game.
Once you have smacked down a few trees in Valheim you will be able to craft yourself a Hammer. You can build things with the hammer such as structures and other items by combining materials. One of the things you will have to make before building any structure though is the workbench. As long as the workbench is in a relatively covered up area with a roof over it you will be able to use the workbench to create weapons and armor.
In Valheim defeating strong boss level creatures will award you with a forsaken power. Once you have chosen a forsaken power you can activate it by pressing the ‘F’ key by default. Check the control scheme in your settings menu if the F key does not work. Keep in mind that you must first defeat a forsaken creature such as Eikthyr, the first forsaken. Once they are defeated, you must take their trophy to the summoning stones where you first started your journey.

One of the things not many people know you can do in Valheim is tame some of the fauna present in the game. There are a few different types of animals in the game which can be turned from wild to tamed. One of the animals you can tame in the game is a Wolf.
Bonemass is how it sounds. It is a huge green blob consisting of bones meat and other discarded parts. The mass lives in The swamp and its main attacks consist of summoning other slimes to help it with the battle and poison based damage. If you are a solo player you are going to have a hard time beating Bonemass, though nothing is impossible with the right strategy.
The Elder, as with the rest of the Boss battles will have to be summoned by placing certain items at their spawn altar. In Valheim every map is different.
