Crafting survival game Cryofall has a rather large map that can be explored. Although the size of the map is great in respect to hosting a lot of players, it has it’s disadvantages. With such a large map it can be very time-consuming walking from one location to the other. There are vehicles in the game which can be unlocked through technologies but what about fast travel? Luckily there is a fast travel system in Cryofall in which players can use alien teleporters to quickly teleport across the map. I will show you the alien teleporter locations and teach you how to use them to fast travel.
Where to Find the Alien Teleporters
Unlike most survival games these days, Cryofall doesn’t features a procedural generated world. The map is hand crafted for the game and everything stays the same on each server. Across the ma in specific locations you can find machines known as alien teleporters. In total there are 13 alien teleporters spread out across the Cryofall map. Check out the image below to see the entire map of Cryofall. Every Alien Teleporter in the game is marked on this map.
Thanks to steamlists.com we can clearly see all of the 13 teleporters on the map. Another important thing to mention is that there is one teleporter clearly stuck on the island to the east. There is an item in the game which is used to locate one random teleporter. You can use this item to discover the teleporter on the island. This is currently the only way that you can get to the island in Cryofall. Simply go to these locations shown and interact with the alien teleporter to discover and be able to use it.
Once you have discovered a teleporter it will be marked on your map.
How to Teleport in Cryofall
Now that we know how to find the teleporters, lets talk about how to teleport. You can use any of the alien teleporters in the game to fast travel. But there is a price. First, once you have found one of the teleporters you will not be able to use it yet. You will have to find at least 2 teleporters on the map to be able to travel with them. This is because you can only travel between teleporter locations. Once you see a teleporter, approach it and press the right mouse button to interact with it.
Paying the Teleporter Fee
If this is your second teleporter sighting, good news! You are now able to teleport through them. The bad news is that you will have to pay the toll to teleport. In order to fast travel in Cryofall you will need one of two things. A high health bar, or pragmium heart. Obviously, just having some health is a lot easier so we are going to focus on that for the sake of the guide. Once you interact with a teleporter you get to decide where to teleport. You will be able to choose from any of the teleporters you have discovered on the map. Obviously the more teleporters you find the better you can travel around.
Simply walk over to the teleporter and press the right mouse button to interact with it. Then, you will be brought to the map screen. Every teleporter you have discovered will appear with a yellow symbol. Left-click on one of these teleporter locations and you will be asked how you want to pay the teleporter price. You can either pay with a portion of your blood or with a pragmium heart. Once you have selected your choice you will be teleported to the chosen location. As you can see in the details in the image above, vehicles will be taken with you.
