Often in Cryofall there will be world events happening. These events can happen anywhere on the Cryofall map. One of the possible events that can happen is the Native Lifeform Migration. In this event, some creatures will appear on the map for a certain amount of time. These creatures generally have rare crafting materials as part of their loot when they are defeated. you can read more on the native lifeform migration event below.
What is The Native Lifeform World Event?
There are many different world events that can take place in Cryofall. For this article, we are focusing on the native lifeform migration. In this event, herds of rare animals will appear on the map for a short time. There are generally a few different areas across the map where this event will take place. This allows for many different groups to participate in the event if they are on a heavily populated server. There area a few different types of creatures that can be hunted in this event. In the images in the article, we had the Floater migration event.
When this event triggers you can see the following description:
“Native lifeforms of this world seem to be migrating to a different area, giving a great opportunity for hunting.”
As you can see in the description this is a limited time event. You will only have a short amount of time to head to the area and hunt the creatures. Be aware that though you will gain rare materials, the creatures will not always be so easy to hunt. I would recommend having at least tier two weaponry if you are planning to take down the Floater creatures. The closer they get to you, the more damage they can do.
Hunting the Floater Migration
If you have the image that looks like a tree above, the creature you are hunting will be a Floater. In each circled area on the map you will find 6 of these creatures. it is recommended to take them down one by one. The Floater creature will follow you as soon as they appear on your screen and sill not stop. They will constantly attack using a pulse attack coming from their body. Try to stay away as best you can.
Most of the loot from the floater is loot you can get from other animals. The most important resource you can get from a floater is Keinite. This substance is extremely rare and used in crafting tier 5 armor. Basically all you have to do is kite the floater around with a ranged weapon and you should be able to get your hands on this rare material.
How to Get to World Events Quickly
When it comes to world events the key is to get there before any other players. This can be kind of difficult if the game just spawns the event on the other side of the map from your base. Luckily there is something you can do about that. In Cryofall there is a fast-travel system that not a lot of players know about. By using alien teleporters that are dotted around the map you can quickly travel to different areas.
