As with most survival RPG games on the market, you are able to create a custom character in Cryofall. Although the game asks you to create a character when you first get into the game players are wondering if they can change their look. Luckily, you can change your appearance in the game at any time. No, I’m not just talking about armor and clothes. In this guide, I’ll show you how to change the appearance of your existing character.
How to Change Your Appearance in Cryofall
To edit your character and change their appearance, open up the inventory menu by pressing the TAB key. With the inventory open, find the button that looks like a person next to a cog. See the image below for an example. Select this button and you will be able to customize you character’s appearance.
That’s all there is to customizing the appearance of your character. This will open up the menu which you saw when you first created your character. If you want to change your character’s clothing, you’ll have to research and craft new armors. Check out this guide to crafting armors for more information.
What Can (and Can’t) You Customize on your Character?
Once you select the button as shown above you’ll be brought to the customization menu. Here you will be able to change the following characteristics about your character:
- Gender
- Face
- Skin tone
- Hair
- Top
- Bottom
- Hair color
Unfortunately you are not able to change the faction of your character. This is where you character is from and gives you certain stat boosts and different bonuses. Be careful when you are first choosing a faction as you won’t be able to change this at any time in the game. There is no technology to change this and no customization.
