Hey there survivors we are back today with another guide for Project Zomboid, the hardcore survival zombie apocalypse RPG. Today we are talking about hotwiring cars. To give players an instant start into hotwiring cars I’ve included a tl;dr above. If you are still having trouble getting access to a vehicle read on, as we will go into depth with images on how to drive vehicles around without ever needing a key in Project Zomboid.
This will be a short guide to get you farming and really earning your food in the zombie apocalypse. Of the many survival mechanics in Project Zomboid hunger and thirst are probably the two hardest to manage. Sure injury might be a big one, but you can just stay out of the way most of the time. One of the best ways to maintain your food source is by farming. We will teach you the basics of farming and show you how to do it in Project Zomboid.
To barricade a window or door with wooden planks in Project Zomboid, gather some planks, nails and a hammer. Then, you simply have to open up the interaction menu on a window or door and select the ‘Barricade’ option.
First of all open up your Steam library and scroll down to Project Zomboid in your list of games. Right-click on Project Zomboid to get to the drop-down menu for the game. When you have the menu up, select the ‘Properties’ option as shown below.

Hello survivors! Today we are running through my favorite little area in Project Zomboid, West Point! The high density, death field of West Point is a town full of hustle and bustle. West Point is one of the spawning locations that can be chosen when playing the sandbox mode of Project Zomboid.
Riverside is an area in Project Zomboid. It is located on the north border of the Project Zomboid map and is obviously, right by the river. It is a small town with a few large buildings to loot. The map for Riverside includes the main town area but doesn’t include some of the outer areas
Muldraugh is an area in Project Zomboid without too many distinctive features. It has a general small town vibe and apart from the large military area nearby doesn’t really have much hustle and bustle. It is a town build on the side of a highway meaning it is a very accessible area for looting if you have a vehicle.
